Fore of a Kind BBQ Ribbon Cutting Brings a Full House

A full house was present for the Fore of a Kind BBQ Ribbon Cutting Ceremony in Prescott this morning as proprietors Abby and Kendrick Fore celebrated this momentous occasion. Fore of a Kind BBQ is quickly becoming known around town for its savory smoked meats, but Abby and Kendrick have taken that delicious barbecue goodness and upped the ante by offering other tasty treats on the menu like the smoked queso and the popular jalapeno smoked mac and cheese bites.

Abby and Kendrick said they are thrilled about the opening of their new business and the pair said that this endeavor has been long in the making. "We're really excited," Kendrick said. "It's something we've been looking forward to for a long time. I've been smoking meat for twelve years now, and it's something I've always been passionate about." Abby further elaborated by saying, "We actually met in a restaurant nearly 18 years ago so we have always had a devotion to cooking. I also have always had a passion to own my own business so this has been a decision we have thought about for some time. We finally decided to take the leap and go for it."

Going all-in is paying off for the Fores as they are quickly building a solid reputation for great food and service. The Fores said a great staff and a wonderful reception from the community have made the debut of their new venture a success. The business name play on words, which combines their names and a common poker phrase, joined with the logo containing one of the four suits from a deck of cards provides a happy introduction to this establishment. Add the pleasant, homey atmosphere and the warm welcome from the Fores, and it appears Abby and Kendrick are well-suited for their new line of work.
