Free WAGE™ Job Readiness Program Offered at UA Hope-Texarkana
 HOPE/TEXARKANA, AR – June 12, 2025

 The University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana Adult Education Division offers a free job readiness program for unemployed and underemployed adults and eligible minors ages 16 to 18. WAGE™ is unique from other career readiness programs in that it focuses on improving participants' basic academic, digital literacy, employability, and financial literacy skills. WAGE™ curriculum provides participants with opportunities to create or improve resumes, meet with a career coach, and earn industry-recognized credentials and certificates.

 With the needs of business and industry at its core, WAGE™ addresses deficiencies required to produce competent workers in high-demand fields such as transportation and logistics, manufacturing, health care, and hospitality and tourism.
