All Hope Public Schools facilities and buses have been treated with a pathogen protection formulated for Ecovasive Arkansas Infection Control which is intended to work against the COVID-19 virus and other viral strains. The treatment is part of a series of four annual applications of the PreventX 24/7 anti-microbial which the HPS has contracted through the Henderson, Arkansas-based company. The treatment bonds with treated surfaces and dries within 15 minutes to provide a colorless, odorless shield that is typically not noticeable, and is effective for up to 90 days, according to the company. – Ken McLemore/Hope Public Schools
