Garrett Memorial Christian School hosted the Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Community Coffee this morning outside the front doors of their school. Sticking with the new drive-thru style option, the 6th grade students took turns taking snacks and coffees out to each citizen that drove up. The kids worked together as a team filling up coffees and refilling baskets of refreshments. Grinning from ear to ear, the kids were excited each time someone pulled up. They even took some time to play a game of tag when the coffee slowed down. It was a great time for all who attended.
