Genoa Central Runs Away From Bismarck Late, Gets 51-30 Win
Genoa- The Genoa Central Dragons welcomed the Lions of Bismarck into Dragon Country on Friday night, as they fought and clawed their way to a 51-30 win. The Genoa defense was all over the floor from the tip to the final buzzer. Peyton Hicks had 4 steals and 4 blocks, along with Brayden Cobb and Jaxson Muhl each having 3 steals to lead the defense, as they held Bismarck to just 30 points. 

After the game, Jaxson Muhl spoke on the Dragons win, "We've beat them twice this season, we came out with the mentality that it was going to be a fight." With the win, Genoa Central improves to 17-8 overall and 6-4 in conference play. 

Peyton Hicks led the way with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jaxson Muhl poured in 10 points and had 6 rebounds, as he did a great job, and made a lot of winning plays for his team. Brayden Cobb scored 7 points, and Braxton Robertson and Austin Pell each scored 6 points. Robertson added 4 rebounds. 

Genoa Central is sitting in 4th in conference play, but with big games still remaining with Prescott, Centerpoint and Fouke, the Dragons can make some moves before the tournament.
