After the game, Jaxson Muhl spoke on the Dragons win, "We've beat them twice this season, we came out with the mentality that it was going to be a fight." With the win, Genoa Central improves to 17-8 overall and 6-4 in conference play.
Peyton Hicks led the way with 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists. Jaxson Muhl poured in 10 points and had 6 rebounds, as he did a great job, and made a lot of winning plays for his team. Brayden Cobb scored 7 points, and Braxton Robertson and Austin Pell each scored 6 points. Robertson added 4 rebounds.
Genoa Central is sitting in 4th in conference play, but with big games still remaining with Prescott, Centerpoint and Fouke, the Dragons can make some moves before the tournament.
