GirlTrek is a National Movement of 1. 8 Million Black women, now walking toward healing and liberation, as a life-saving sisterhood.  GirlTrek is a global movement of Black women leveraging the historic legacy of walking and the power of self-care as a pathway to heal and improve our lives. We believe walking 30 minutes a day is a radical act of self-love and the root of a cultural revolution. #GirlTrek

We of the SouthWest SisSTARs of Hope, Arkansas Committee extend an invitation to you to be a part of and promote our upcoming GirlTrek National Regional State experience.

This venue will afford all who attend to participate in hearing the GirlTrek National Speakers share the 2035 Agenda for women and girls, on September 23, 2022. All planned with you in mind so that solutions may surface and we gain dialogue and to digest and stride toward accomplishment toward better health outcomes after hearing Strategic Goals, Mission and Vision of GirlTrek.

On Saturday the 24th of September, we will ask questions during the panel discussion, and we will host and award "Golden Shoelaces," for those that completed walking 21 days along and will read City and State Proclamations, before the donation-focused matching benefit evening concert.

We look forward to hearing from distinguished community speakers, such as Executive First Lady Barbra Pitts, Orange Baptist, Honorable Mayoress Veronica Smith-Creer of El Dorado and Andrea Brown, M. Roseanne, and M. Bandy and A. Lacount to note a few.

We will start the program promptly at 12 p.m. We have a lineup of dynamic and outstanding facilitators who are excited to speak to the GirlTrek Arkansas 2022.
