GMCS stayed with them early, but Trinity proved to be too much for the Saints as Trinity would go on to win the game 66-33.
Hooks Brown led the way for the Saints with 14 points and 10 rebounds. Brandy Edwards scored 9 points and had 3 steals, while Ben Martin scored 4 points. Chase Sundberg, Will Lauterbach, and Graydon Randle all scored 2 points for GMCS. Lauterbach added 4 boards.
In the Jr. Boys game, GMCS found themselves trailing in the 4th quarter by 10, but showed a lot of resiliency as they stormed back and took the lead late, and capped off the 38-33 win with a defensive stand. Graydon Randle led the team in scoring with 14 points. Haze Brown had 9 points. Chase Sundberg added 6 points and 8 rebounds. Slade Tullis had 4 points, Matthew Garcia added 3, and Carson Vines scored 2.
GMCS is back in action on Monday as they travel to CMA.
