GMCS Drops Tough Match to Cornerstone
Tiller- The GMCS Lady Saints went to Cornerstone on Tuesday night for a conference match. The JV squad accepted the challenge to take on a conference Varisty opponent and came up just short as they lost in 5 sets, 20-25, 25-23, 14-25, 25-14, and 6-15. Lot of great effort from this bunch and some really good volleyball was on display. Savannah Fields had 8 aces and 6 kills to lead the way for the Lady Saints and Brailyn Almand had 6 aces and 4 kills. Raylee Adkison had 1 kill and 3 aces, Natalee Chunn served up 6 aces, and Madison Faulkner had 2 aces. The Lady Saints are in action on Thursday at home as they take on a very good opponent in Taylor. Jr. Games beginning at 4:30.
