Harding Blows Past Prescott in Second Half, 47-25

Prescott gave over several interceptions to Harding Academy in the second half on Saturday, losing the momentum they built in the first half.

Harding brought everything they had to bear against the Curley Wolves, netting themselves a 26-12 lead at the end of the third quarter, and carrying over into the fourth as Prescott tried to gain momentum with an early touchdown.

Unfortunately for Prescott, many of the yards they gained in the second half ended up helping Harding Academy. Aided by Harding’s excellent kicker, Prescott proved unable to gain ground in the fourth quarters Harding ran an excellent offensive game, putting a wider and wider spread between the scores of the two State Finalists.

A long run by Zachary in the last minute and a half of the game gave the Curley Wolves a few more points to close the gap, but it wouldn’t be enough. The Curley Wolves fell to Harding Academy with a final score of 47-25.
