Haunted Hall Returns: A Spooktacular Community Collaboration at Hempstead Hall!
Hempstead Hall is excited to announce that "Haunted Hall" will be returning tonight at 4 PM for its fifth year! Last year, they successfully coordinated it with UAHT’s Fall Festival. This year, they couldn’t make it work so this year UAHT students and Collegiate Academy participants can enjoy this spooky experience for free! Yes, you heard that right—FREE! For everyone else, admission to Haunted Hall is just $5 for any brave soul willing to enter.

We had the opportunity to sit down with John Gladden, the director of Hempstead Hall, and he shared some valuable insights about the many groups and individuals who contribute to the success of "Haunted Hall." John emphasized the vital role played by the Trio Students, a part of the student success initiative at UAHT. "They really help us out every year," he noted, highlighting their dedication and creativity. This enthusiastic group is responsible for decorating several areas of the venue, adding their unique flair and festive spirit to the haunted experience.

In addition to the Trio Students, John acknowledged the invaluable contributions of the full-time staff at Hempstead Hall. “Our staff works tirelessly to ensure everything is set up perfectly,” he explained. From planning to executing the details, their collaboration makes Haunted Hall a fantastic event for everyone involved. John expressed his gratitude for their unwavering support and passion, which shines through in every corner of the hall. It’s clear that "Haunted Hall" is not just an event; it’s a collaborative effort that brings together students, staff, and volunteers to create a memorable and thrilling experience for the community.

Concessions will be available for purchase, and throughout the night, candy and treats will be given away to those who make it through!

Here's the schedule:

  • From 4 PM to 6 PM: No jump scares
  • 6 PM to 6:30 PM: Break
  • From 6:30 PM to 9 PM: Jump scares galore!

Don’t miss out on this thrilling event!
