This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of south central Arkansas, southwest Arkansas, north central Louisiana, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma, east Texas and northeast Texas.
DAY ONE…This Afternoon and Tonight…
Patchy to areas of fog is expected to develop once again across the region late this evening through the overnight hours. The fog could be dense in some areas, before lifting by mid morning Friday.
DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Friday through Wednesday…
Isolated to widely scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will be possible Friday afternoon over portions of East Texas, and across the remainder of the region Friday night and Saturday as a series of upper level disturbances move through. The unsettled weather pattern will continue through Monday morning as additional showers and thunderstorms develop along and ahead of a strong cold front that will move through the area. Cooler and drier air will follow the frontal passage late Sunday night and Monday, although a return of showers and a few thunderstorms look to return to the region Tuesday night and Wednesday.
