HCHS meeting September 26th
Charlean Moss Williams mentioned three different famous artists from the 19th century in Hempstead County.  These were Mary Carrigan, Carrie Carruth, and Jenny Delony. Come here about their life stories at the meeting of the Hempstead County Historical Society and see some examples of their artwork.

 The Hempstead County Historical Society will meet on Tuesday evening September 26, 2023 at the Presbyterian Church in Washington, Arkansas at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

The Historical Society seeks to bring awareness to the rich heritage and history of Hempstead County. Come and share your history with us.
