President of the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Arnetta Bradford talked a little about the coffee, “We are kicking off 2025 with our very first community coffee hosted by our Chamber Board members today. Coffees are very important to build relationships and network with businesses and community leaders. The coffees are another way to connect people. It’s all about connections. Last year, we had an amazing president, Maurice Henry who passed the baton to me, and so we're going to see what my leadership can do and how I can help, but mainly I'm a part of this to help the director. Christy does an amazing job, and she loves what she does. I tell her all the time when she calls us bosses, we're not your bosses, we’re working with you. It’s your vision and we're just helping to push that vision out to the community,” Bradford said.
Executive Director of the Hope Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce, Christy Burns expressed gratitude for the Board of Directors, “I am thankful for each member of this board. They take time out of their busy works schedules to help make our chamber, our community and our entire county a better place,” Burns said.
