Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce holds Community Coffee & Ribbon Cutting for Jump Start Learning Center

The Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce held a community coffee and ribbon cutting this morning for Jump Start Learning Center. Many locals came out to support and tour the new early childhood program, located at 1404 S Main in Hope. Juice, water and pastries were served to those who chose to grab a snack as they listened to all that the center has to offer.

Mayor Don Still was in attendance and welcomed the new business to Hope, "I would like to welcome you to Hope and the town of Hope has been anticipating this new learning center opening. I was just thinking how exciting it is to have all these ribbon cuttings here, how exciting it is to start a new business with everything brand new. I wish you all the best and hope you have a wonderful experience"

Owner and Operator, Rashawnda Young introduced herself and Creative Director and lead teacher, Olivia King and then explained a little about the establishment. "Jumpstart Learning Center is a licensed childcare home for preschool aged students, ages three to five. Our ultimate goal is to bridge the learning gap in our community by equipping pre-school students with the tools and resources they need to be successful. Our hours are from 6:30 am-5 pm, year round. We encourage all parents to come out and enroll their children in Jump Start Learning Center, where great minds grow."

Hempstead County Chamber Director, Christy Burns said, "I am thrilled that we have another pre-school where children can learn and parents can feel at ease that their child is in good hands while preparing for Kindergarten."

Enrolling your child at Jump Start Learning Center will provide them the opportunity to learn gross and fine motor skills in a safe, caring atmosphere along with a rich learning environment. They will have lots of creative, fun learning activities and family style mealtime is served at lunch. The program's teachers are qualified and certified.

The school has several classrooms, an inside play area, as well as an area for children to go outside and have recess. Quotes about learning hang on the walls, bright colored rugs cover the floors and books are in abundance. There is plenty to keep little minds growing as they ready for big school.
