In order for employees to attend services for Judge Crane's wife, Ms. Glanis, the Hempstead County Shop will be closing Wednesday, March 22, at 12:00 PM, and the Hempstead County Courthouse will be closing at 1:00 PM.  All Hempstead County Courthouse offices will reopen at regular business hours on Thursday, March 23, 2023.

If your trash is collected on Wednesday, March 22, and does not get picked up, it will be collected along with the Thursday, March 23 collection. Sorry for any inconvenience.
