Hempstead County Democrats to Host “Meet the Candidates” Event on January 3rd
Hope, Arkansas — January 3, 2026 — The Hempstead County Democrats will host a Meet the Candidates event on Saturday, January 3rd, 2026, at 320 East 6th Street in Hope, Arkansas, beginning promptly at 10:00 A.M. The event will feature Democratic candidates appearing on the Democratic Primary Ballot in the Gubernatorial race, the United States Senate race, and the Arkansas House of Representatives race.

This public forum will offer residents an important opportunity to hear directly from the individuals seeking elected office in the upcoming election cycle. The event is structured to provide voters with an open and accessible environment in which they may ask questions, learn about each candidate’s platform, and engage in constructive dialogue about the issues affecting Hempstead County and the State of Arkansas.

All candidates on the ballot for their respective offices have been invited to participate. Each will be given time to introduce themselves, outline their legislative priorities, and take part in a moderated audience question-and-answer session. Confirmed attendees include:

Light refreshments will be provided. All community members, including students, business owners, and first-time voters, are encouraged to attend. Voter registration forms will be available on-site for individuals who wish to register to vote.
