Hempstead County Farm Bureau Awards Scholarships
Hempstead County Farm Bureau was formed over 90 years ago, and since the inception of the scholarship program in 1984, our organization has awarded over appx $126,000 in scholarships to over 150 graduating seniors in Hempstead County. This year, our organization was able to provide 15 scholarships to graduating seniors, valued at $500 each. On Wednesday, May 22, we held a reception in our board room for recipients and their family.

Board President, Mark Lloyd, and Agency Manager, Reed Camp, presented the scholarships. We would like to congratulate all of our winners and wish them the best of luck on the next chapter of their life !

 Receiving the awards this year are: 

 Blakelee Adams. Blakelee is a graduate of Spring Hill High School. She is the daughter of Michael and Jantzen Foster. Her plans are to attend Ouachita Baptist University to pursue a degree in Health Science.

Jarett Cox.  Jarett is a graduate of Spring Hill High School. He is the son of Chad and Jessica Cox. His plans are to attend the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to pursue a degree in Finance with a concentration in Financial Management/Investments.

 Richard Cunningham. Richard is a graduate of Hope High School. He is the son of Delma Stewart. He plans to attend UAHT- Hope to pursue a degree in Welding.

 Jackson Flowers. Jack is a graduate of Spring Hill High School. He is the son of Nick and Heather Flowers. His plans are to attend SAU to pursue a degree in Business Marketing.

 Ryleigh Kretz. Miss Kretz is the daughter of Jay and Lyndsi Esterling and a graduate of Spring Hill High School. She plans to attend SAU where she will receive a degree in Occupational Therapy with a minor in Social Work Services.

 Lane Lockhart. Lane is a proud graduate of Hope High School. He is the son of  Mark and Mindy Lockhart. His plans are to attend Arkansas Elite Welding Academy to pursue a degree in Welding.

 Levin McGuire. Levin is a graduate of Spring Hill High School. He is the son of Shorty and Rainna Ghormley. His plans are to attend the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.

 Vincent Marks. Vincent is a  graduate of Hope High School. He is the son of Vincent & Marilyn Marks. His plans are to attend UCA to pursue a degree in Radiography and Nuclear Medicine.

 Zane Minton.   Zane is the son of Jason and Kathleen Minton and a proud graduate of Spring Hill High School.  He plans to attend UAHT and obtain his HVAC Certification.

 Cooper Plyler.  Cooper is a proud graduate of Spring Hill High School. He is the son of Shane and Suzanne Plyler. He plans to attend Eastern Oklahoma State College to pursue a degree in Agriculture Economics.

 Blane Tuttle.  Blane is a proud graduate of Spring Hill High School. He is the son of Dave and Brandi Tuttle. He plans to attend SAU where he will pursue a degree in Business Management.

 Shelby Ratcliff. Shelby is  a proud graduate of Garrett Memorial Christan School. She is the daughter of Aaron and Jackie Ratcliff. Her plans are to attend SAU, where she will pursue a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing.

 Lainey Robbins. Lainey is a proud graduate of Prescott High School. She is the daughter of  Rickie and Kristie Robbins. Her plans are to attend SAU where she will pursue a General Studies degree                                                                                                                                                                             

Andrew Wylie.   Andrew is the son of Stacy and Jerita Wylie and a proud graduate of Spring Hill High School. He plans to attend Ouachita Baptist University to pursue a Master’s Degree in Accounting and Finance.
