Hempstead County is built on the impact and history of the many residents that migrated to this county to make a new life for themselves and their families. The family of Sheba and Milko Smith is such a family that settled here in Hempstead County, Arkansas and established a successful dining business, Sheba’s Family Restaurant.

Come and learn about the history of Sheba’s and the impact they have made at the Hempstead County Historical Society on Tuesday evening June 28, 2022 at 7pm. The restaurant is located at 1013 North Hervey Street. Everyone is welcome. The guest speaker for the evening will be local restaurant owners, Sheba and Milko Smith. Dinner is not provided. Come early and eat before the meeting to support a Hempstead County restaurant.
