Upon arrival deputies conducted a search of the residence Deputies located two glass pipes used to inhale methamphetamine a loaded syringe used to inject methamphetamine, single shot 12 gauge. A bag of 12-gauge shotgun shells, 1 dispensed 12 ga shotgun shell.  And a .22 caliber bolt action rifle. Deputies had prior knowledge that Randy Smith was a convicted felon.

Deputies seized the drugs, guns and paraphernalia and transported Randy Smith to the Hempstead County Jail where he will be charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm by certain person.  Smith is currently awaiting a first court appearance.
