Hempstead County Master Gardeners Announce Annual Spring Seminar
The Hempstead County Master Gardeners are hosting their annual spring seminar on Feb. 23, 2026 at Hempstead Hall, UAHT Hope campus. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m., but guests can come shop at 5:00 p.m. with our home and garden vendors until the program begins at 6:00 p.m. Amy Simpson, Clark County Extension agent, will present tips and tricks to get your gardens ready for spring, and Dr. Vic Ford, a local favorite, will talk on growing your own mushrooms.

Cost to attend is $20 per person until Feb. 20th, then $25 afterwards and at the door. You may pre-register by calling our office prior to Feb. 20, and pay the early rate at the door or in advance by dropping by the Extension office at 1800 E. 3rd in Hope. A light supper and refreshments are included.
