Thank you so much for your support of Relay For Life of Hempstead County and the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives. Based on the CDC’s recommendations and the direction of our local community to encourage social distancing, your local American Cancer Society family has made the difficult, yet important decision to temporarily postpone Relay for Life of Hempstead County that was scheduled for April 24 in Downtown Hope.
The American Cancer Society is grateful for all the dedication of our volunteers, teams and sponsors, and we appreciate the sacrifices you make to support our events. The COVID-19 situation remains uncertain and fluid and our goal is to respond in a way that best meets the health and safety needs of those who rely on us.
