Hempstead County Road 5 is closed due to culverts being damaged. The closure is situated approximately a quarter mile down the road after passing Springhill School and turning left onto CR 5. 

Currently, the Hempstead County Road Department cannot provide an estimated duration for the closure of Hempstead County Road 5. For this reason, it will be closed until further notice.
