Public Notice

Dear Citizens of Hempstead County,

I want to advise the citizens of Hempstead County that effective
Wednesday March 25, 2019 the front window’s and front lobby of the
Hempstead County Detention Center will be closed to the public.

All fine payments may be made on line at paymyfine.com or we can take
credit card payments over the phone by calling 870-777-6727. We will
not take any in person payments until we receive further guidance from
the Health Department and State Officials.

If you have the correct change, you may put the correct amount in an
envelope addressed to the Attention of Hempstead County Sheriff’s
Office and drop it in the night deposit, which is located just as you
enter the Detention Center’s entry doors at the Hope Police Department
fine payment window. We will mail you a receipt for your payment in
the mail.

I apologize for any inconvenience that you may have during these
unprecedented times; our goal is to keep our employees and the
Citizens of Hempstead County Safe.

Please keep our Deputies and Police Officers in your prayers.
“IN GOD WE TRUST”

Sheriff James Singleton
Hempstead County, Arkansas
