Hempstead County Judge Jerry Crane and Sheriff James Singleton would like to extend an invitation to all firefighters, EMS, Personnel and Law Enforcement Officers to join them in a special dedication on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 10 am in front of the flag pole on at the Hempstead County Courthouse.

Hempstead County has been provided an official Flag of Honor to be raised during the ceremony, Taps will be played by a member of the Hempstead County Sheriff’s Office.  The flag of honor contains the names of those that perished in the World Trade Center Towers, the Pentagon, United Flights 175 and 93 and American flights 11 and 77.
