The Southwest Arkansas Third District Fair Pageant named Hempstead County’s Abbi Akin as Southwest District Fair Queen on Tuesday at the Hempstead County Fairgrounds. She also won Miss Best Interview and Miss Best Dress. Ansleigh Patrick was First Runner Up, and also took Miss Most Photogenic. Akin will move on to compete at the State Fair Queen Pageant on October 18 in Little Rock.
