The Hope Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 1001 West Jones Street at 12:30 pm Wednesday afternoon. Upon their arrival they observed a storage building behind the residence with smoke coming from the roof. A resident had been burning leaves and the fire spread to the storage building, causing extensive damage.
