Hogs' Transfer Haul Grows to 19: Five More Added Including Key Defensive Playmakers

FAYETTEVILLE -- Arkansas added five more portal additions on Wednesday including four on defense plus an offensive tackle.

The Razorbacks are up to 19 new additions now. The Razorbacks also are now among the many schools recruiting Ouachita Baptist offensive tackle Terence Roberson and UAB tight end Elijah Lagg, 6-4, 240. Roberson is from Warren while Lagg played at Mountain Home. Roberson arrived at Arkansas on Wednesday and Lagg gets to Fayetteville on Saturday.

The new additions on Wednesday were Oregon State offensive tackle Adam Hawkes, 6-5, 305; North Carolina linebacker Khmori House, 6-2, 215; Clemson cornerback Shelton Lewis, 5-11, 185; Auburn edge-linebacker Jamonta Waller, 6-0, 243; and Kentucky linebacker Steven Soles Jr., 6-2, 237.

rkansas beat Tennessee and others for House. This past season, House had 78 tackles, 45 solo, a sack, one pass breakup, an interception and forced a fumble. House was the leading tackler for North Carolina. He visited Arkansas this past weekend and then went to Tennessee.

House is a big addition for the Razorbacks and will likely be one of the defensive leaders on the team in 2026. He played high school football at Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco where he was once a teammate of safety Tay Lockett, who inked with the Hogs in December.

 A transfer from the University of Washington where he played in 12 games as a freshman before announcing his departure prior to the Sun Bowl. Played for former Huskie defensive coordinator and new Tar Heel DC Steve Belichick at UW. Earned Freshman All-America honors from College Football Network in '24 after playing in all 12 regular season games and recording 35 tackles (19 solo), 1.0 tackles for loss, a forced fumble, an interception and four pass breakups. Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week after a win over Northwestern, when he had three tackles and an interception.

Hawkes talked about why he chose the Razorbacks.

“I chose the Hogs because it felt like home from the moment I stepped on campus," Hawkes said. "The coaching staff believed in me, and I believe in what they’re building at Arkansas.”

Hawkes talked about what stood out about the Razorbacks.

“Arkansas stood out because of the culture, the passion of the fan base, and the opportunity to compete at the highest level," Hawkes said. "I’m excited to be part of something special.”

Ryan Silverfield and his assistants made a strong impression Hawkes as well.

“The relationships I built with the coaches and players made my decision easy," Hawkes said. "I trust their vision and know this is the best place for me to grow on and off the field.”

Hawkes said he's "all in baby" and ready to see action in the SEC.

“Wearing the Razorback means pride, toughness, and tradition," Hawkes said. "I’m grateful for the opportunity and ready to get to work.”

Soles had 11 tackles, eight solo, 3.5 sacks and two pass breakups in 2025. The former Powell (Tenn.) standout will have two years of eligibility remaining. Soles recorded 66 tackles, 8.0 tackles for loss, 7.0 sacks (-23 yards) and 38 quarterback hurries, all of which were team highs, as a senior in 2023. He added four pass deflections, one interception returned for 38 yards, one fumble recovery, one blocked punt and one blocked field goal. Helped his team to a 9-4 record and an appearance in the Tennessee Division I Class 5A quarterfinals

Named the Class 5A Region 2 Most Valuable Player, The Knoxville Focus and Coaches Poll Player of the Year and a semifinalist for Class 5A Mr. Football in 2023. Chose Kentucky over offers from Alabama, Miami and Tulane.

In 27 games with Clemson, Lewis has 29 tackles, including 21 solo, 2 interceptions and 10 pass breakups. He returned one of his interceptions 46 yards for a touchdown. lewis played his high school football at Stockbridge (Ga.). He was a 3-star recruit.

Waller suffered a foot injury in 2024 and didn’t play in 2025 for the Tigers. He was a highly recruited player out of Picayune (Miss.) High School. He was sold on being a Razorback after his visit.

“It was a great visit, I loved everything about it,” Waller said. “The Arkansas family made me feel like home. Everything was just great.”

Waller is looking forward to being in Fayetteville to play football.
