Hempstead Hall was alive with energy tonight as hometown girl Mae Estes took the stage. The Arkansas CMA winner came home from Nashville to perform, and her local fans were elated with the show. Estes kicked off the show with “Fool Me Once” and kept up a lively performance throughout the night by singing her hit “Roses,” as well as popular songs like “Recycled” and “Best Side,” plus covers such as “If I Didn’t Have You,” “Turn It Loose,” and more.

Estes said performing at Hempstead Hall here in Hope is a momentous occasion for her. “This is a super special show for me.” Estes said. “This venue is one which I’ve always respected. I’m so happy live music is alive and well in South Arkansas, and to be a part of that means a great deal to me. I’m so thankful that my hometown is supporting my dreams.”

Hempstead Hall Director Amanda Lance said she and the Hall staff were delighted that Estes could be here tonight. “I love the fact that we can highlight someone from Southwest Arkansas,” Lance said. “Mae is an award-winning artist who will go on to do more amazing things, so we are thrilled to have her here.”

The audience was enthusiastic as they cheered and sang along; some fans even danced during the upbeat tunes of the night. Many shouted love and praise for Estes during the show, letting this hometown girl from Hope know she was welcome home. Estes showed her appreciation, as well, in between performances by giving shout-outs to family, friends, and all fans at the show, as well as a heartfelt thanks to Hempstead Hall, the Southwest Arkansas Arts Council, and Farmers Bank & Trust for making this memorable night possible.
