In partnership with Hope Auto of Hope, SWARK.Today recently held their third annual 'Design an Ad' contest. Fifth and sixth grade students at Beryl Henry Elementary, Blevins Elementary, Garrett Memorial Christian School, and Spring Hill Elementary were asked to design and color their version of an advertisement for participating local businesses.
Marshall Mills, a fifth grader at Spring Hill Elementary was selected as the overall winner and Eric Lemely was happy to present him with the grand prize, a 24 inch bright green bicycle with all the bells and whistles provided by Hope Auto.
Marshall was extremely excited that he won the contest and very grateful. He test ‘drove’ his new bike all around the parking lot as his family cheered him on.
All of us at SWARK.Today would like to say THANK YOU to each of our sponsors for allowing us the opportunity to hold this contest and involve our local schools. We encourage everyone to shop local and drop by these establishments, because our local businesses do so much for our town!
Participating Sponsors – Hope Auto, Advantage Self Storage, Amigo Juan, New Millennium, Heather Manor, McDonalds of Hope and Pafford Medical Services.
