The Hope Bobcats Boys Golf Team traveled to the Degray State Park Golf Course yesterday to compete in the 4A-7 District Golf Tournament. Calvin Haynes, Collin Easterling, Juan Leon, and Hunter Mathis went all out representing the Bobcats and snatched a win with Mathis qualifying as an individual to compete at the state level. Coach Bryce Cash said he was pleased with the team's dedication this year and appreciative of the commitment they displayed in competition yesterday. “I thought the boys played well," Cash said. "They have been working hard all season to get to this point. I’m extremely proud of Hunter for his hard work and his accomplishment of qualifying for State."
Hunter Mathis will travel to Fayetteville on October 5th to represent the Bobcats in the Boys State Golf Tournament.
