Hope Calvary Baptist Church's Annual Christmas Concert
Light rain and dreary clouds couldn't prevent a nice crowd of 55 from bringing in Christmas at the annual holiday concert at Hope's Calvary Baptist Church on Sunday evening, Dec 7. This year, the audience, in a beautifully decorated church sanctuary, enjoyed LaJuan Thompson and the Harmenizers Quartet from First Baptist Church Hope on the stage. The group sang traditional Christmas tunes and modern-day songs with the audience singing along on several. Mrs. Thompson played the piano for every song performed. A wonderful fellowship  provided by the ladies of Calvary Baptist Church followed the music. Delicious holiday food and delightful conversation was enjoyed by all for almost an hour afterwards.
