Hope Chamber Hosts Ribbon Cutting for Aley Mendoza’s Shelter Insurance Agency

HOPE, AR – A familiar name in the local insurance landscape is under new leadership. The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony today to officially welcome Aley Mendoza as the new local agent for Shelter Insurance.

While Shelter Insurance has long served the Hope area, the transition marks a fresh chapter for the agency. The Hope community gathered to celebrate the official grand opening and ribbon-cutting of Aley Mendoza’s new Shelter Insurance agency and local officials, business leaders, and community members turned out in high numbers to welcome her.

Mark Ross, representing the Hope City Board, spoke at the event, highlighting the importance of young professionals choosing to lead local businesses. “It’s great to have a newer generation want to invest in and stay in Hope,” Ross said. “We do appreciate that, and we wish y’all the very best.”

Mendoza expressed her gratitude for the overwhelming community support during the transition. “I honestly didn’t think I was going to have such a big turnout, so I’m very humbled and thankful,” said Mendoza. “I just want to thank everybody for taking time out of your busy day to come and support me. It really does mean a lot.”

“We are thrilled to welcome Aley Mendoza as she steps into this role at Shelter Insurance,” said Christy Burns, Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. “While Shelter is a staple in our community, Aley brings energy and a personal touch that will serve her clients well. We are excited to see her carry on the agency’s legacy of service here in Hope.”

Aley Mendoza’s Shelter Insurance office is located at 1221 South Main in Hope, where she is now available to assist residents with their insurance needs.
