Hope Civitan Club joins Hope Farmers Market
The Hope Civitan Club hosted the Hospitality Table at Hope Farmers’ Market this morning to provide snacks and refreshments to market patrons in addition to info about the organization and upcoming events.

Club President Twyla Pruden said she and fellow Civitans were excited to join the market today. “We enjoy being out here with our local farmers and getting to meet people in the public,” Pruden said. “Our service club truly thrives when participating in local events with our fellow citizens and giving back to the community.”

Pruden also shared upcoming events that Civitan will host, including a hot dog fundraiser at Atwood’s next weekend and the annual car show to be held at the Watermelon Festival. More info about these events and the Hope Civitan Club can be found at the Civitan Facebook Page

Also in attendance at the market today were some new vendors this year: Tay’s Treats had baked goods, Jameson Orchard had fresh peaches, and Watkin’s Watermelons had the always popular locally-grown watermelons. The Mint Man, Lydia’s Baked Goods, Arnold Farms, Salinas Farms, and W7 Farms were also on the scene to provide fresh produce, canned items, baked goods, and a variety of homemade wares.

The Hope Farmers Market takes place every Tuesday morning from 7am to 11am, and vendors provide a variety of locally-grown fresh produce, canned items, baked goods, and homemade products.
