Madelyne Maclaughlin continues to string together top five finishes every week, as she finished in fourth place this week to lead the Lady Cats. Crystal Ortiz has been good for the Lady Cats this year, finishing 17th overall. Allison Yhoss, Valeria Castillo, and Sofia Serrano rounded out the top five for the Lady Cats who finished in second place Saturday.
The Bobcats finished in third place, Kevin Lozano had another great race Saturday, finishing in seventh overall. Omar Cardona and Daniel Garcia were 14th and 15th place for Hope, followed by Javier Martinez and Carlos Zapata who rounded out the Bobcat top five.
Other notable runners for Hope were Emir Barrientos, Christopher Bello, Eduardo Leyva, Angel Salomon, and Jonathan Hernandez who all finished in the top 40 overall.
In the Junior Boys, Rodrigo Olivo led the way for Hope with a 14th-place finish followed by Zachery Ross. In the Junior Girls race, Yuliani led the way for Hope.
Hope is gearing up for some tough races down the stretch, including making a run at the Conference Championship.
