The Hope Downtown Network, Inc. held their annual meeting Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce. After a few agenda items,  President John Sitzes supplied everyone with a Year End Review spanning since July 1st, 2022.  (List is attached)

HDN member Barb Noble presented A Taste of Hope update to those in attendance stating the fundraiser will be held October 7th, 2023 in Downtown Hope. Preparations for this event are well underway and it is expected to be a very entertaining evening. Included in the evenings items was “A Taste of Hope” food tastings table which consisted of four local restaurants being represented. This supplied the group with a sample of what A Taste of Hope would be like.

Represented tonight were Amigo Juan, Tailgaters Burger Co., Sheba’s Family Restaurant, and La Mangonada.  Those restaurants participating on October 7th will showcase a signature dish of their choosing.  The Hope Downtown Network will be hosting the Hospitality Table at the Hope Farmers’ Market on June 20th.  The next meeting of the Hope Downtown Network will be held July 20th, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Tailgaters Annex.
