This year’s celebration will feature a Hot Cocoa Crawl where shoppers can taste a
variety of hot chocolate in participating stores and restaurants. HDN has placed a total
(36) 2025 Hot Cocoa Crawl mugs in three participating businesses. The mugs will be
sold for $5.00. Kick off your collection of Hot Cocoa Crawl mugs by visiting Elm Street
Marketplace, Vintage Girls Boutique & More, and Rae-Tays to purchase this year’s mug.
There will also be a Hide n’ Seek game where shoppers can “seek” Shop Small stickers
that will be placed throughout downtown. Find a sticker and take it to a participating
business to receive a percentage off selected merchandise. Families, friends, and
visitors are encouraged to explore the shops, enjoy seasonal décor, and experience the
personal service that only small businesses can provide.
“Every purchase made downtown is an investment in our community,” said Beckie
Moore, Hope Downtown Network Executive Director. “Small Business Saturday is a
great opportunity to show our local businesses how much they matter—not just during
the holidays, but all year long.”
Small Business Saturday is a national movement that encourages people to shop small
and shop local. In Hope, the event highlights the heart of the community—its locally
owned shops, restaurants, and service businesses that keep downtown vibrant and
unique.
Residents and visitors alike are encouraged to bring friends, sip hot cocoa, and shop
small in historic downtown Hope on November 29.
