Hope Downtown sets planters in Pocket Park, announces date for second A Taste of Hope
Hope Downtown Network, a program under Main Street Arkansas since 2018, unveiled the first phase of a community-wide project voted upon during their 2023 Taste of Hope event, a set of brightly colored planters.

Barb Noble, Hope Downtown Network Board President, stated “We are excited to show the community the first phase of our Pocket Park Fund-a-Project. During our 2023 inaugural event called Taste of Hope, our community selected their project choice among three outstanding options. They overwhelmingly voted for this project. Without community support and partnerships, this project would not have been possible. There are three phrases to this Fund-a-Project, so stay tuned for what is to come.”

Hope Downtown Network is excited to announce the date and theme for their Second Annual Taste of Hope event. The community is invited to come together in Historic Downtown Hope on Saturday, October 5 from 5:00 PM – 6:00 PM. This year’s theme is Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. Throughout the evening, attendees will be able to take a stroll through the 50s and 60ss and remember the amazing eateries that blessed our town for years and years. Additional information will be released at a later date.

Hope Downtown Network’s mission is based upon the Main Street Four-point Approach. The four points strengthen downtown revitalization and historic preservation and focus on design, organization, promotions and economic vitality.
