Conway- Hope Bobcat Manuel Retana was selected to play in the AHSCA All-Star Soccer Game this past Friday night at Estes Stadium on the UCA Campus in Conway, Arkansas. Retana played an excellent game for the West team as they were tied 2-2 after full-time, forcing a Penalty Kick situation in which the East would come away with the victory. Manuel received high praise from his All-Star Game coach who told us after the game that Retana completely locked down the Arkansas Gatorade Player of the Year. Manuel has been a stud player for the Hope Bobcats this past season and Coach Marshall has spoken many of time this season how important and great of a player Manuel has been for the Bobcats. Retana's effort, hardwork, and love for the game is something that is easy to notice if you have watched any Hope Soccer games this past season. Excellent showing at the All-Star Game and congratulations on being selected to the All-Star Game.
