This week's Community Coffee was hosted by Hope Haven Assisted Living, where guests were treated to a variety of snacks and refreshments, plus the chance to visit with residents and staff to learn more about the facility. Activities Director, Amanda McBride, said that she and the staff were thrilled to invite fellow members of the community into Hope Haven. "This is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and have time with each other, plus experience together what Hope Haven has to offer," McBride said.

She said Hope Haven provides residents with three meals a day, transportation to doctors visits, planned activities, and more. As an assisted living facility instead of a nursing home, the residents can enjoy the freedom of coming and going as they please and planning their days to suit their needs.

Numerous guests in attendance said they had never been inside Hope Haven before, nor did they know it was an assisted living facilty. Many expressed delight at the pleasant atmosphere and decor inside the building and said they were glad they attended today's Coffee and got to know more about Hope Haven.
