Hope-Hempstead Chamber of Commerce to Celebrate Chamber of Commerce Week

October 14, 2021, Hope, Arkansas, The Hope-Hempstead Chamber of Commerce will join other chambers across the state to celebrate Chamber of Commerce Week.

Next week (10/18 - 10/22) has been proclaimed as Chamber of Commerce Week in Arkansas by Governor Asa Hutchinson. Local chambers are planning various activities throughout the week.

Vice Mayor, Kiffinea Talley will join the chamber board of directors and executive director at the chamber on Monday, October 18 at 10:45 for the reading of the proclamation for state chamber of commerce week.

The chamber officers and director will create a video that will be shared with the local community as well as with the state chamber of commerce.

Christy Burns, chamber board president shared, “We have a full week of festivities planned including a video shoutout, city/county proclamation, ribbon cuttings, a community coffee and more! We certainly appreciate our community supporting the local chamber.”

The Chamber Ambassadors will host the Chamber Community Coffee at the HUB on Wednesday, October 20 from 9:30 AM-11:00 AM. During the coffee, the chamber will also celebrate a new chamber member (Amber Aaron Photography) with a ribbon cutting at 10:00 AM. Those in attendance will be able to enter their name for a prize drawing. Honeycutt Printing is creating a banner that will serve as the photo opportunity area at the HUB. We encourage everyone at the community coffee to take a picture, tag the Hope Chamber and share it using #supportyourlocalchamber.

The chamber board’s monthly meeting is scheduled for October 20, which only provides an additional opportunity to post pictures to thank the chamber members for all that they do in and for our community.

To conclude the week, please make plans to join the chamber board and the ambassadors for a ribbon cutting on Thursday, October 21 at 10:00 AM. We will celebrate the opening of REDDS’ Place located at 2504 N Hazel.
