The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 1 st Annual Watermelon Walk
Window Decorating Contest. This contest will be open to all members of the community. Chamber
representative, Trevor Moses stated, “We are very excited to make this window decorating contest a part of
this year’s Watermelon Festival. We hope this will be a way to involve more community members in Festival
Week and to show our watermelon spirit as people visit Hope for the festival.” There will be awards for Most
