Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce Announces 4th Annual Watermelon Walk Window Decorating Contest
Monday, July 7, 2025 – Hope, Arkansas – The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 4th Annual Watermelon Walk Window Decorating Contest, a fun and festive tradition that brings the community together during the 49th Annual Hope Watermelon Festival season. Businesses, organizations, and individuals are invited to participate by decorating their
storefront windows with eye-catching watermelon-themed designs that reflect this year’s official festival theme: “Melonpalooza.”

Participants will have the chance to compete for awards in three categories:
�� Most Creative
�� Best Use of Theme
�� Best Overall

“There’s no better way to show community pride and get into the festival spirit than
joining the Watermelon Walk,” said Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope-
Hempstead County Chamber. “We can’t wait to see the creativity shine across town.”
