The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce it is
celebrating Small Business Season. Small Business Season is a global marketing initiative
designed to call attention to the importance of small business and the impact it has on the
quality of life in Hope.
From November 1 to December 31, we are celebrating Small Business Season and the Hope-
Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is encouraging everyone in our community to
support local by shopping, dining, and visiting our small businesses.
Small Businesses are a big deal. They need our help and we need theirs. On average, $68 of
every $100 spent locally stays in our community. These Small Businesses are our neighbors
and our friends, they support our non-profits, our youth organizations, and our local events.
When they are successful, we are successful.
Small businesses faced overwhelming challenges over the past three years, overcoming a
global pandemic being one of them. November 26, 2022 is Small Business Saturday but our
small businesses need more than one day to show our support, they need an entire season!
Do Something Big and Shop Small this Small Business Season™.
Mayor Don Still has proclaimed November 26, 2022 Small Business Saturday in Hope,
Arkansas. Christy Burns, Chamber Executive Director, encourages everyone to remember local
this year. “Visit your local businesses, you may be in for a big surprise to see what you can
find. Shopping local is exciting for all of us. Remember to keep the cheer here this holiday
season.”
