The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the resounding success of "A Storybook Christmas” celebration, featuring Be the Light tree decorating, a magical Christmas Parade and a dazzling Window Decorating Contest. This joyous event, made possible by the generous support of our sponsors, brought the community together to celebrate the holiday season in style.
Be the Light downtown tree decorating contest – Sponsored by River Valley Tractor
The centerpiece of this year's festivities, "Be the Light," adorned downtown Hope with 85 brilliantly decorated trees, sponsored by River Valley Tractor. The winners are as follows:
- Best Overall: ABC Pre K
- Most Creative: Jennifer Gentry Books
- Best Use of Theme: Southwest Arkansas Education Cooperative (SWAEC)
- People's Choice: Montgomery Law Firm
- Honorable Mention: In Memory of Sgt Chad Rosenbaum
Each winner demonstrated unparalleled creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication to the theme of A Storybook Christmas, contributing to the overall enchantment of the downtown area.
Christmas Parade - Sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust
This year's Christmas Parade, proudly sponsored by Farmers Bank & Trust, showcased approximately 40 festive entries. The winners in various categories include:

- Best Use of Lights: Yerger EAST
- Best Use of Theme: First Baptist Church of Hope
The parade entrants wowed the community with their creativity, lights, and adherence to the theme, adding an extra layer of joy to the festivities.
