The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the upcoming Christmas Parade that will be held Monday, December 5th, 2022 at 6:00pm with presenting sponsor Farmers Bank & Trust. Â
Chamber Executive Director Christy Burns stated, “It has been a blast planning and preparing for this year’s Christmas Parade! We have multiple exciting entries from bands, to antique cars, floats, queens, a special appearance from the Big Man in Red, and much more!”Â
The participants will begin line-up around 5:00pm at the Brazzel-Oakcrest Funeral Home parking lot and the route will continue as follows:Â Â
Leave parking lot (1001 Main) and turn right on Main Street
Travel on Main towards downtownÂ
Turn left on 2ndÂ
Turn right on ElmÂ
Turn right on Division
Turn right on Walnut and disband on the back lot of First Baptist Church (corner of 3rd and Walnut.)
Some other areas of interest for the evening include hot cocoa compliments of First Assembly of God Church before and during the parade around 2nd & Elm St., the annual Christmas tree lightening at the Depot following the parade, Cookies with Santa sponsored by Junior Auxiliary of Hope at the outdoor area of Tailgaters, and hot cocoa & candy canes provided by Montgomery Law Firm at 110 S Main. Â
