Locally, Mayor Don Still will issue a proclamation declaring October 12th through 18th as
Chamber of Commerce Week in Hope, Arkansas.
“We have a full week planned, including the Chamber Week Proclamation, special Facebook
posts, and a community coffee hosted by the Ambassadors. We certainly appreciate our
community supporting the local chamber—our Chamber members are the reason we celebrate,”
said Christy Burns, Executive Director of the Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce.
To mark the occasion, the Chamber Ambassadors will host a fall-themed Community Coffee on
Wednesday, October 15th, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Chamber office, 201 S Main in
Hope. The community is invited to join in the celebration. This date also coincides with National
Support Your Local Chamber of Commerce Day, making it a perfect opportunity to show
appreciation for local businesses and organizations.
