With the voter support we will be able to improve not only the recreational facilities,  but also update our fire department to serve the public. Excited to get started on this new project. Great things are happening in Hope. “

Hope City Manager J.R. Wilson released this statement: “I would simply like to say thank you to our elected officials and all of our citizens for their vision, initiative, and decisions to vote yes on all 3 local ballots today.  By voting yes, our citizens chose to  invest in the future of our community and all its people.  Hope is a wonderful place to live, work, worship, raise a family, start a business, get an education and do all necessary things for successful living.  Today’s actions will build upon past successes and the work of many that came before us.  By continuing to work together, we will continue to position Hope for a bright future.  Together, we choose our future and together we continue to write the story of the legacy of Hope, Arkansas.  Congratulations!”

Assistant City Manager Daniel Shelman had this comment: “I'm very excited for this historic investment into our community and appreciate the support from the citizens. The decision tonight shows the commitment of our community to invest in the future of Hope. The community has spoken and now it's our responsibility to follow through … As details are available, we'll be glad to share updates publicly regarding a timeline of implementation. Great things are coming!”
