An Invitation from the Hope Lions Club:

On Friday, March 18, we will be celebrating our 75th anniversary as part of Lions International. We were chartered by founders club of Texarkana on March 18, 1947. For 75 years, we have had the privilege of serving the residents in our part of Southwest Arkansas. Our projects have brought in several million dollars. We have shared both money and effort with the needy, the visually impaired, the youth, the ill, the distraught and handicapped. We have enjoyed helping in our area and around the world.

To thank the public that has assisted us in every step of our endeavors, we are throwing a party in conjunction with the Jonquil Festival at Washington State Park. Starting at 10 AM near the Farmers Market Pavilion, the first 500 persons to come by are invited to join us for free cake and ice cream to begin their day of fun at the festival. We look forward to seeing you there.
