The Hope Lions Club will be serving their traditional meal of fried catfish, hush puppies, baked beans and coleslaw Friday afternoon starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Fair Park Community Center. You can pick up your meals or dine in the Fair Park Community Center.
The meals will cost $15 with the proceeds going to help people with visual impairments locally as well as all over the world. The Lions also provide funds for the Charitable Christian Clinic, the Hope High School Band and many other organizations involved in aid to those with lower incomes or education. They also treat those of lower income in Hope to Christmas groceries.
