Anthony Brown
On April 18, 2022 at approximately 10:25am, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Anthony Brown, 19, of Hope, Arkansas. Mr. Brown was charged with possession of firearms by a certain person, terrorist act, and engaging in violent criminal group activity. The arrest occurred in the 300 block of South Washington in Hope. Brown was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
Britt Spell
On April 21, 2022 at approximately 4:30pm, officers of the Hope Police Department arrested Britt Spell, 24, of Prescott, Arkansas. Mr. Spell was charged with possession of controlled substance methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, served a failure to comply warrant and served 2 foreign warrant services. The arrest occurred in the 600 block of East Rosehill Street in Hope. Spell was taken to the Hempstead County Detention Facility and held for a first appearance.
